The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has launched the Automated Fire Compliance and Safety System (AFCAS), a digital platform streamlining fire safety compliance.
The initiative aims to replace manual, paper-based processes with a transparent and technology-driven compliance systems.

Speaking at the event, Chief Fire Officer Daniella Mawusi Ntow Sapong emphasized that AFCAS will simplify inspections, improve real-time monitoring, and strengthen the service’s preventive capacity nationwide.

The Minister for the Interior, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, reaffirmed that fire safety remains a national priority, stating that AFCAS forms part of the Government’s Reset Agenda to make doing business in Ghana more seamless.

The digital platform is expected to prevent structural fires, protect lives and property, strengthen regulatory efficiency, and boost investor confidence through innovation-driven public service delivery.

AFCAS is a result of collaborative efforts between the Ghana National Fire Service and its partners, demonstrating their commitment to innovation and public safety.
