Kumasi Asante Kotoko defender Lord Amoah will undergo surgery in the coming weeks after suffering an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) and Medial Meniscus Tear (MMT).
The right-back sustained the injuries during a week 23 fixture of the Ghana Premier League match against Young Apostles in Wenchi.
He is expected to have a successful surgery to assess the extent of the injury. However, sources in Kumasi suggest that the player will face a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Lord Amoah has now joined a list of injured players for the Porcupine Warriors.
