Music artistes, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy, put aside their long-standing rivalry to appear together at the Ghana World Cup raffle launch held in Accra.
The event, which took place at the Ministry of Finance on Tuesday, March 17, 2023, saw the two artistes join Sports Minister Kofi Adams and other stakeholders to support fundraising efforts for the Black Stars ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The raffle initiative is aimed at generating funds for the team’s pre-tournament activities, including international friendly matches.
Attractive prizes such as trips to the United States, Mexico, and Canada, host nations for the tournament, are up for grabs.
Despite years of tension over the “Dancehall King” title, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy were seen posing together peacefully, drawing cheers from fans and attendees who welcomed the moment of unity.
