The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia has urged Ghanaians to support the Black Stars in their international friendly match on Friday, March 27, 2026, against Austria.

He called on all and sundry to get their Ghana jerseys, wear them and rally behind the team wholeheartedly.

“Tomorrow our Black Stars face Austria! Get your jerseys ready. Let’s make tomorrow a Wear Your Ghana Jersey day. Let’s show our boys we’re behind them!” he wrote on Facebook.

The match, set to take place at the iconic Ernst Happel Stadium, is part of the teams’ series of high-profile friendly matches ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
