Musician Shatta Wale has called for calm among his loyal fanbase and music lovers to exercise restraint towards highlife icon Gyedu-Blay Ambolley over the criticism of the ‘Dancehall King’ title.
The outspoken singer is urging his fans to avoid disrespecting the veteran musician, stating, “nobody should attack him.”
Shatta Wale’s plea comes after Ambolley questioned the former’s claim of being the ‘dancehall’ king, noting that you cannot claim what you did not create.
Gyedu-Blay Ambolley also stated that Shatta Wale needs to “grow up.”
In a social media post, the “I know my level” crooner pleaded with his followers not to rain insults on Gyedu-Blay Ambolley, as his admiration for him dates back to his childhood.
“Please, nobody should attack him, no disrespect please. I loved this man from infancy, and I can’t and will never disrespect his views,” the award-winning musician stated.

According to the multiple award winner, he is not offended by the criticism of the legend.
“Maybe we have to learn more in the hard way. Thank you my legend; ano bore at all… It’s all love.”
