Four people are reported dead following a road crash at Dawadawa along the Kintampo-Tamale Highway.
Fourteen others survived the crash but sustained various injuries and were rushed to the hospital.
The accident occurred on Saturday, April 4, 2026, involving a Kia Rhino truck (GT-5209-16) transporting poultry feed and a Sprinter bus (GE-5377-21) carrying passengers that collided.
According to the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), the extent of the collision resulted in four people being trapped in the wreckage, presumed dead, and handed over to the police.
The fourteen injured victims were taken to the Kintampo Municipal Hospital, where they are currently receiving medical treatment.
Authorities have opened an investigation into the cause of the accident.
