Gospel musician, Florence Obinim, has shared her personal journey, explaining why she decided not to pursue higher education, saying she believed early on that her future lay in music rather than formal schooling.
According to her, she made the decision to focus on developing her musical talent instead of continuing his education, stating that she did not see the need to worry herself or spend money furthering her education when she was already passionate about music.
She further reflected on her experiences growing up and traveling, saying it changed her perspective on education and career development.
In her view, people in other parts of the world, particularly in Western countries, tend to invest more deliberately in their natural talents and creative abilities.
“Growing up and traveling, I realized that white people invest in where their talents are,” he said, expressing admiration for how creative skills are developed and supported abroad.
She made this remark on Y’adwumanie on Angel FM on Tuesday, April 14,2026.
