The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced the release of outstanding funds for the procurement of perishable food items intended for senior high and technical schools nationwide.
In the statement signed by the Head of Public Relations, Daniel Fenyi, GES, the management says the funds have been allocated to the Service, and processes have begun to ensure efficient distribution to various schools.
GES has also put in place monitoring and accountability mechanisms to guarantee the funds are used solely for their intended purposes; providing food for students.
The Service reaffirms its commitment to student welfare and improving educational outcomes across the country.
