The Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) has announced a temporary partial closure of the road in front of the Departure hall at Terminal 2, effective Monday, May 11, 2026.

According to the company, the closure will last for approximately one month to facilitate safe refitting works on the frontage and façade of Terminal 2.

During the closure, the affected road section will be inaccessible to both vehicles and pedestrians.

To mitigate disruption, GACL will deploy directional signage and traffic management personnel on-site to guide commuters and ensure smooth movement around the construction area.

GACL expressed regret for any inconvenience caused and thanked the travelling public for their cooperation while the works are carried out.
