The Deputy Minister for Energy and Green Transition and Member of Parliament [MP] for Gomoa West, Richard Gyan-Mensah, has presented digital communication and entertainment equipment to youth across 56 communities in the constituency.
The first set of items distributed include DSTV decoders and accessories, projectors, tripods with portable screens, and public address systems.
According to Gyan-Mensah, the initiative forms part of efforts to promote digital communication, public education, community engagement, and access to information.

He added that a consultant has also been engaged to assess the feasibility of rolling out free community WiFi.
“With these initiatives, our communities will be better connected, better informed, and better entertained free of charge,” the MP stated.
The project, he said, aims to build “a smart and more connected Gomoa West.”
