Media personality Ohemaa Woyeje has dismissed criticism and insults directed at her over issues involving Akosua Serwaa and other matters, insisting that she remains focused on her personal growth, businesses, and family.
Speaking in a recent interview on Aluta FM monitored by Angelonline.com, Ohemaa Woyeje said she does not pay attention to online trolls and critics because they do not contribute to her livelihood.
“I don’t pay attention to people who insult me over Akosua Serwaa or any other things. I have a lot to do, I have businesses to focus on, I have kids, I go to school, I write books, and I have work to do, which motivates my audience. Those people don’t feed me or bring food to my table,” she stated.
According to her, the criticism she receives often serves as motivation, particularly in her writing career.
She revealed that she recently printed more than 300 copies of one of her books( Life Beyond Opinions) and has already sold nearly all of them.
“The insults even inspire me to write books. I printed over 300 copies and have sold 300 of them. There are only a few left, so their insults don’t affect me in any way,” she said.
The broadcaster further advised people to focus on protecting their mental well-being rather than trying to dictate how others should live their lives.
“It’s a free world. You don’t decide how people should live their lives. You should rather protect your sanity and know who you are so that when people say things that are contrary to what you know about yourself, it won’t affect you,” she noted.
Ohemaa Woyeje also claimed that successful and business-minded individuals do not spend time attacking her, arguing that many of her critics are driven by envy.
“There is no business-minded person who is investing in their life and career who rises against me. Anybody who sets up a camera to speak ill about me wishes to be me, and because that wish didn’t come true, they hate me for it,” she asserted.
She further suggested that many of her detractors are struggling with personal issues and need support.
“There’s nobody better than me who rises against me. These are people who need help. Yes, they are depressed,” she added.
Questioning the actions of her critics, Ohemaa Woyeje concluded by asking:
“Have you ever seen me set up a camera to talk ill about anyone?”
