Heavy flooding has hit parts of Accra following hours of intense rainfall, leaving roads submerged and disrupting movement in several communities.

Exclusive footage obtained by Angel 102.9 FM newsroom on Monday, June 29,2026, shows the severity of the flooding in the Achimota and Alogboshie areas, with fast-moving floodwaters engulfing roads and surrounding properties.

According to an eyewitness, about four people were swept away by the flood.

The claim has not been independently verified, and authorities are yet to officially confirm any casualties.
