A TikTok content creator, known as Ella Diaries, has accused Ghanaian political and social commentator, Appiah Stadium of leaving her stranded at a restaurant after she allegedly refused to accompany him to his room at an apartment complex in Accra.
In a video circulating on social media, Ella Diaries claimed she first came into contact with Appiah Stadium after someone on TikTok asked for her phone number on his behalf.
According to her, she did not know who Appiah Stadium was when his name was mentioned.
“I asked who Appiah Stadium was. Although the person shared his photo with me, I still didn’t know who he was,” she said.
She explained that after sharing her contact details, Appiah Stadium called and requested to meet her before he travelled the following day. She said she believed the meeting was related to a business opportunity or a possible collaboration.
“I believed he wanted to promote my content or discuss a business opportunity with me. That was the only thing on my mind,” she said.
Ella Diaries alleged that Appiah Stadium asked her to order a ride and promised to pay for the transportation. She said he first directed her to Signature Apartments before later changing the meeting point to The Gallery Apartments.
She claimed they met at a restaurant, where they spoke about her TikTok activities, business, and other general matters while she had something to eat.
According to her, she later asked why he had invited her because he had not explained the purpose of the meeting.
“I eventually asked him why he had invited me because I genuinely believed the meeting was for business,” she said.
Ella Diaries alleged that Appiah Stadium then asked her to go with him to his room, but she declined the invitation.
“I told him I didn’t want to go to his room,” she recalled.
She claimed his behaviour changed immediately after her response.
According to her, Appiah Stadium looked at his phone, stood up, apologised, and walked away.
Ella Diaries said she remained at the restaurant, believing he would return after what appeared to be a phone call. However, she alleged that he never came back.
She further claimed that she tried calling him several times, but his phone had been switched off.
After waiting for about 20 minutes, she said she realised he was not returning and decided to book another ride home.
“I realised he had left because I refused to go to his room, so I went home,” she alleged.
The TikToker described the experience as embarrassing, saying the issue was not the invitation itself but the way she was allegedly treated afterward.
