The Black Maidens have been drawn into a tough group for the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, where they will face Canada, Brazil and Norway in Group C.
The draw sets up a challenging encounter for the Black Maidens as the team returns to the World stage in Morocco later this year, from October 17 to November 7.
They secured qualification after overcoming Senegal in a dramatic penalty shootout in the final round of the African qualifiers in Ghana over the weekend.
The team will now turn their attention to the challenge of competing against three of the world’s strongest youth teams.
Ghana will begin their tournament campaign against Norway, followed by Brazil, before concluding with a match against Canada as their final group game.
