The campaign team of New Patriotic Party Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, has declared its unwavering support for him, stating that it stands “shoulder to shoulder” with him, his family, and the NPP during what it describes as a “difficult period.”
In a statement signed by the Media & Communications Directorate of the Chairman Wontumi Campaign, the team said it has not regretted standing with the NPP Chairman and will continue to do so.
“As the Party has assured all members and supporters, Chairman Wontumi is not alone. Neither is this campaign. We stand shoulder to shoulder with him, with his family and with the New Patriotic Party during this difficult period,” the statement said.
“We have not regretted standing with Chairman Wontumi. We do not regret it today, and we will not regret it tomorrow. Loyalty is not tested in moments of triumph; it is revealed in moments of adversity. This campaign stands exactly where it has always stood, firmly beside Chairman Wontumi.”
The campaign emphasized unity and faith, adding that it remains steadfast, hopeful, and united. It further expressed confidence in the legal process and in the future.
“Together, we remain steadfast. Together, we remain hopeful. Together, we remain united. Together, we move forward with faith in God, confidence in the legal process and an unshakable belief that the future still holds promise.”
The statement reaffirmed its support, saying : “Our Faith Remains Unwavering. Long Live Chairman Wontumi. Long Live New Patriotic Party. God Bless Our Homeland Ghana.”
