Righteous Vandyke of Adom TV’s ‘Nsoroma’ fame, has partnered musician, Ohemaa Philis in a peace song dubbed, ‘Ghana Sombo’ in a bid to promote peace in this year’s general elections.
In an interview with Ohemaa Woyeje on ‘Y’adwuma Nie’ on Angel 102.9 FM on Monday, July 27, 2020, Rigtheous Vandyke revealed that, his team decided to put this song together in order to promote peace before, during and after elections.
He, however, confessed that despite composing a peace song for elections he doesn’t know anything about politics and elections.
He noted that he keeps hearing people call for peace every election year hence the need for the song.
‘Ghana Sombo’ which translates to ‘Ghana is precious’ seeks to prepare the minds of Ghanaians as the nation prepares to go to the polls in December.
Righteous Vandyke, Winner of Nsoromma on Adom TV, is a native of Apam and a very talented person in terms of music and dancing.
He is a student of Ekos Academy.
He has also been featured in songs with artistes like Paa Kwasi of double fame with the song ‘Enhye Wo’ and Evangelist IK Aning among others.
