The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has predicted that the party will win majority of seats in Parliament in the December polls.

Addressing party supporters in Yendi, the former President said opinion polls have informed him that the party is leading the NPP and will win more seats in the law making chamber.

“NDC will win more seats in Parliament, we are winning the Parliamentary seats including this Yendi seat…,” he assured the party supporters at the rally.

To this end, John Mahama encouraged the NDC supporters to ensure that they go out in their numbers to cast their ballots for the NDC in the elections which is a little over a week away.

The NPP currently controls Parliament with 169 seats while the NDC has 106 seats.

They are predictions that the NPP will lose certain seats because of disunity in some constituencies.
