Progressive People’s Party (PPP) communication team member, Charles Owusu, has extolled overseer of Glorious Word Power Ministries International (GWPMI), Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah, as the most blessed pastor in the country.

Charles who is an ardent follower of the priest, stressed on Angel FM’s Anopa Bↄfoↄ morning show that he has been to places and experienced the works of many clergymen, yet none could be compared to Rev. Bempah.

“I remember while young we went to Bethel, Owusu Abirim’s time. I saw the marvellous works God did with him. He is dead and gone. God keep his soul. I have been to prayers at Ejisu, Hebron and met a lot of pastors, but if you ask me, since I was born some 43 years ago, I have followed God and seen many priests, but there is none more blessed than Owusu Bempah,” he stated with readiness to be challenged.

He disclosed that the apostle who has been caught in a predicament, involving a legal suit in which he has been granted bail on September 15 2021, has been generous to him.

“I know how God is using him to bless me. I know what the man has done for me in my life. If nobody can testify of his kindness in their lives, I can. My life alone is an evidence of his generosity.”

That notwithstanding, he said he does not judge the GWPMI leader by his natural self, but by the godly nature he assumes. As a result, what people say or what situation he [the Reverend] finds himself in does not affect his judgement.

“He is human so cannot be God, so he has his godly trait and the natural traits. I don’t consider his natural trait, but I consider his godly traits. So people like us, it doesn’t matter what somebody will say or what has happened to him.”

Reverend Bempah was recently accosted by the Police with some four members of his church over a chaotic event that occurred between the members and the police leading to gunshots being fired.

According to reports, the police visited the church to arrest the head pastor over an earlier fracas that ensued between him and Nana Agradaa, which was recorded in a video that went viral on social media.

However, a junior pastor of Reverend Bempah’s obstructed the officers resulting in the disagreement between the officers and the members and the subsequent arrest of the members and the head pastor as well.

Meanwhile Reverend Bempah has been granted bail by a High Court to the tune of GH₵200,000 with two sureties, after attempts to get him bailed for the first time proved futile at the circuit court where he was ordered to be remanded for seven days.
