According to the Police, the victim, whose name was withheld, boarded a taxi cab with the Registration Number GX 8171- 20 from Kasoa New Market Junction to Columba Road after closing from work.

Police sources says the driver and his friend failed to stop at the victim’s destination and sped off to the Buduburam stretch.

After the court sitting, Kasoa District Police Commander Chief, Superintendent Timothy Dassah, told Angel news reporter Opanyin Darko that , the two suspects striped the victim naked pulled out a knife on her, and each of them raped the victim.

They subsequently robbed her afterwards and took off, he added.
