Kwame Eugene gifts $100 to look-alike fan

Kuami Eugene with look-alike

It was a mixed feeling on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at the studios of Angel 96.1 FM in Kumasi when Kuami Eugene’s look-alike met him.

The die-hard fan could not hide his excitement and resorted to touching the feet and cleaning the shoes of the “Rock Star” with his dress to express his profound love for him.

A video of the look-alike went viral last year performing Kuami Eugene’s songs with a striking resemblance.

He was alleged to have been paid some money to pretend as the artiste and perform at a funeral held within the same period.

When ‘Ike De Unpredictable’, host of Angel Drive programme, asked Eugene why he did not sue the fan for impersonation, his reply was that “it is rather a blessing and an honour for someone to mimic another and make a living out of it.”

The “Dollar on you” hitmaker gifted him some hundred dollars (US$100) for travelling all the way from Techiman in the Bono East Region, to Kumasi in the Ashanti Region, just to meet him.

Kuami Eugene expressed his gratitude and attributed the love from his look-alike as God’s grace working on his behalf.
