Ghanan Premier League giant, Kumasi Asante Kotoko, has signed a partnership agreement with the National Lotteries Authority (NLA).
The partnership agreement will be worth GH¢1M.
Chief Exective Officer (CEO) of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah and NLA boss, Samuel Awuku and Henry Nana Boakye (Nana-B) were among the dignataties that were present during the short ceremony held at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Kumasi.
Also present at the official launch were Asante Kotoko club legends, namely Coach Kwasi Appiah, Daniel Asare, George Kennedy, Opoku Nti, Abdul Razak and Papa Arko.
The one-year partnership is expected to run from the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season subject to renewal.
NLA at the launch unveilled one of its latest initiatives and products called ‘Atena’, a game of chance which will offer Kotoko enthusiasts an opportunity to predict five jersey numbers of their favorite club and win several range of prices which is directly linked to this partnership package.
This product is going to be one of the game-changing initiatives of the Sammi Awuku – led National lottery Authority Administration.
