NPP elections: National chairman hopefuls to pay ₵20k filing fee

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has confirmed July 14 to July 16, 2022, as days for the election of new national executives to steer the affairs of the party.

According to the party, persons hoping to occupy the position of national chairman would pay a filling fee of GH₵20,000 while the vice chairperson and general secretary are expected to pay GH₵15,000 and GH₵10,000, respectively.

Those vying for other national executive positions will pay GH₵8,000 except for wings who would pay GH₵6,000.

The filing fee for Chairmanship position at the constituency level is GH₵500 and other positions cost GH₵200.

At the regional levels filing fee for the chairperson equals GH₵5,000 and the others go for GH₵2,000.

Information seen by Angelonline.com.gh also indicates that Constituency Elections would be held from 22nd to 24th April while Regional Elections have been slated for May 20th to 22nd.

Other details include; Polling Station Elections; 19th February – 5th March

Officers who would be in charge of the album and the elections at the polling station include; the chairman, secretary, research and election as well as regional representatives.
