The Bank of Ghana (BoG) has asked customers of banks and other financial institutions in the country, to consistently monitor their bank accounts for any suspicious transactions.
In a statement, BoG urged customers to report any unlawful and unauthorized transactions to the institution for such activities if found.
“Regularly monitor your bank transactions and account balances and report any unlawful, unauthorized, or suspicious transactions on your account to the institution.
“In case of complaints: Your banking application login credential s such as passwords, usernames and one-time passwords (OTPs) are highly sensitive and important assets in the digital world as the keys to your homes. Properly secure them,” the statement stressed.
