Evangelist Patricia Asiedua alias Nana Agradaa has pleaded guilty to defrauding by false pretense and charlatanic advertisement on TV.

The fetish priestess-turned-evangelist admitted to the charges slapped against her after she was arraigned before the court today, Friday, October 14, 2022.

According to Angel News’ court correspondent, Ama Brako Ampofo, the accused’s lawyer was not in court today. Church members as well as sympathizers were equally absent from the court premises.

“When asked today whether she pleads guilty or not, she pleaded guilty

all the six times she was questioned.

“Six different complainants have emerged today and the charges are different from the previous ones…Agradaa was tried in Circuit Court 10 [which is different from the trial which took place in Circuit Court 9 on Thursday, October 13, 2022]…”, Ama Brako Ampofo explained.

This implies that this is the third time she has been remanded into custody in two separate cases. She was first put before court on 10th October 2022 and remanded for three days. on her second appearance in court, she was remanded for another three days and set to reappear on Monday, October 17.

According to the police, in the second case, the accused was arraigned before the Court today, 14th October, 2022 and has been remanded into Police custody to reappear on 24th October, 2022.

The court, which was presided over by Judge Evenly Asamoah, asked her to reappear on October 24.

The prosecution, led by DSP Sylvester Asare, are on a manhunt for church members who received mobile money in connection with the money doubling scam.

According to the complainants, Evangelist Patricia Asiedua demanded and received huge sums of money from them under the pretext of doubling same for them.

The accused is reported to have admitted to the complainants’ assertions as correct during interrogations.
