A leading member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and a political analyst, Dr. Richard Amoako Baah has accused the President of betrayal despite helping him become the President of Ghana in 2016.
He added that the first gentleman after occupying the presidential seat has failed to be grateful to the many including himself who fought tooth and nail to ensure that he realises him dream of leading Ghana someday.
“After becoming the President, he has changed totally, he’s not the same person I have been talking to several times…he’s not the one,” he alleged.
An emotionally-charged Dr. Amoako who was speaking on Angel Morning Show on Wedneday said he sacrificed himself for Nana Akuffo-Addo during the election period.
“If I knew this was how he was, I wouldn’t have talked with him because I sacrificed myself for him during the elections,” he claimed.
He added that the President of Ghana has been ungrateful to him “despite sleeping in bushes to campaign for him, whilst he was in a land cruiser enjoying”.
“In 2016, he told me with teary eyes that some people wanted to sabotage him, but I comforted him that everything would be fine, we will make sure you win and he is President now,” he disclosed.
Interestingly, the Presdient has never bothered to speak to Dr Amoako Baah despite promising to do same when he becomes the President of Ghana.
“He called me when he was travelling to London, that when he returns he will call me …that was the last time I heard from him,”he alleged.
