One person has been apprehended by police at Awutu Senya West in the Central Region during the New Patriotic Party’s Presidential Primaries.
The suspect, Foster Nyarko who is believed to be in his 30s was arrested for an alleged possession of knife at the Awutu Senya Polling Station A.
According to Angel News’ Opanin Darko, the suspect was engaged in a fight after which the police identified the knife in his possession.
“He was fighting and police around decided to separate them but during the process, found out that he has a sharp knife on him ready to stab the opponent,” he reported.
The suspect has since been sent to Awutu Breku District Police Station for interrogations and further actions.
