The Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper, Kwasi Pratt Jnr claims he has not reported to the police the robbery incident that took place in his office.

Armed robbers pillaged the journalist’s office located at Kokomlemle in Accra on Monday morning.

The ace journalist was unwilling to report the robbery case to the police because he was not convinced about what the police can do to unravel the matter.

This, he told Joy FM, is because most serious cases have happened in the country and nothing really has been done about them.

The robbers stole his laptop which contains some important documents and information about the operations of the insight newspaper together with his iPhone. And this is likely to affect his future works.

“They first disabled the CCTV cameras. They must have know how to use iron bars because they used them to disable the first door and they went into my office, used iron bars to disable the second door. It is obvious that they wanted to cause little noise as possible and they did what they had to do and went away,” he said.
