The Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), has promised to turn Ghana into medical tourism center when voted into power.

“We will build 10 state of the arts ultra-modern hospital to turn Ghana into a medical tourism center. And we are going to invest $10 billion to do that”, the party’s flagbearer, Mr. Kofi Akpaloo stated.

He made this promise during the party’s 2020 manifesto launch on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 under the theme ‘A Better Tomorrow’.

According to Mr. Akpaloo, the LPG’s better tomorrow manifesto has the best development agenda for Ghana.

Among other initiatives, the party again has promised to prioritize the provision of child and unemployment benefits should they be elected as the next government.

“Every child in Ghana will be paid GH¢200 every month, thus from day zero up to age 18. Those who are working and paying social security will be paid what we call unemployment benefits when they lose their job. Those who have never worked before, we will pay them what we call ‘Income Support’”, Mr. Akpaloo added.

Another key issue that was captured in the LPG’s manifesto was that they were going to set up a $10 billion dollar job fund which is going to help young men and women from universities and polytechnics who want to do business.

Mr. Kofi Akpaloo has thus assured readiness to win this year’s election for better reforms and development.
