Thank you for making Jacobu proud – Chief showers blessings on Pure FM’s Osei Kwadwo

The Chief of Jacobu in the Amansie Central District of the Ashanti Region, Nana Fosu Kwadwabiri II has rained blessings on Kumasi-based Pure FM’s reporter Osei Kwadwo for winning 2020 Foklex Media Awards Ashanti Regional Reporter of the Year.

Osei Kwadwo affectionately called Ambassador was announced the Ashanti Regional Best Reporter of the Year at the recently held Foklex Media Awards.

Osei Kwadwo wrested the award from the likes of Nsiah Foster of Otec FM, Osei Tutu Prince of Agyenkwa FM, Frank Ntow of Wontumi FM, Osman Bukari of Angel fM and Nana Ama Instiful of Fox FM.

In the company of some old students of his former school, Jacobu Senior High Technical School (JASTECH), Osei Kwadwo paid a courtesy call on Jacobu Chief Nana Fosu Kwadwabiri II and to seek his blessings.

Nana Fosu Kwadwabiri II addressing the team said, “I’m really proud of my grandson Osei Kwadwo for bringing victory and happiness to Jacobu. He fought a good fight and he deserves the award.”

“Time is up for you to come back and help your district. You always go to communities in Kumasi to bring out their challenges but don’t forget your district is bleeding in terms of development. Try to bring our challenges out for government and stakeholders to know how we are suffering when it comes to development,” the chief said.

He however advised the youth of Amansie Central District to work tirelessly to achieve their dreams.
