Former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, Eric Nii Baah, has called on management of the club to enlist a psychologist for the goalkeeping department.

Speaking Tuesday on ‘Floodlight Sports’ on Angel 102.9 FM, Nii Baah said the recruitment of three national team goalkeepers into the team could spark tension among them and as such, needs to be psychologically controlled.

This comes after the Porcupine Warriors announced the signing of former WAFA goalkeeper, Razak Abalorah, to boost that department which already has Felix Annan and Kwame Baah.

During the truncated league, Felix Annan started off strong as the number one choice for Coach Maxwell Konadu but soon after his wedding, he lost his position to Kwame Baah.

His replacement led to fans to question the decision to bench Asante Kotoko’s Captain. Felix Annan.

Nii Baah therefore cautions that, “as human beings, we all want to perform and improve so there will definitely be tension in that department. Once the decision to sign Razak Abalorah has already been made, all the goalkeepers must get a psychologist to psych them to avoid any conflict or controversies.

Kumasi Asnate Kotoko are currently in the Eastern Region capital, Koforidua for their preseason tour.
