The Presidential Candidate for the All People Congress (APC), Hassan Ayariga, has expressed dissatisfaction over the poor governance of the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

He says Nana Akufo-Addo has failed in all aspects since he was the last hope for Ghanaians.

“President Nana Akufo-Addo was the last hope [Ghanaians had] in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP). Ghanaians had a lot of hope and trust in the presidency of Akufo-Addo but actually all that they were expecting did not materialise for them,” he said on Angel FM’s ‘Anɔpa Bɔfoɔ’ morning show on Tuesday, October 20, 2020.

Mr Ayariga told host Captain Smart: “They are doing their best but their best is not the best for Ghana.”

According to him, the NPP in 2016 campaigned against the incumbent John Dramani Mahama and accused him of being incompetent over the poor management of the economy. He said “If you listen to my good friend Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and brother in 2016, when we were all going for the polls, he was using economic data and analysis to judge the former president.”

“Can we go back again and revisit those economic data and challenges that were being campaigned for and against,” he questioned.

“If we take the dollar for instance, Dr. Bawumia in 2016 was against the 3.9 Cedis to a dollar. But today, it is six cedis to a dollar,” he stated.

This, he said, justifies his call for Ghanaians to vote for him on December 7, as President and end the NPP-NDC dominance in Ghana’s politics.
