The former First Lady, Lordina Mahama, has voted in the La Dadekotopon constituency in the Greater Accra Region.

H.E Lordina Mahama, who is the wife to former President and flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, was accompanied by her four sons.

Speaking to Nana Yaa Brefo, co-host of Angel FM’s ‘Anɔpa Bɔfoɔ’ morning show, one of the sons of former President John Dramani and Lordina Mahama, encouraged his father to stay calm as the process is going to turn out in his favour.

Also, Lordina Mahama disclosed that her fourth son who recently turned 18 is voting for the first time.

Meanwhile, the Presidential Candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has voted in the Bole constituency of the Savannah Region.

Mr. Mahama was cheered by the Bole constituents when he showed up to vote.

Addressing the constituents after voting, Mr. Mahama urged the electorates to vote and refrain from violence.

President Akufo- Addo casts ballots at Kyebi

The President and flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has also cast his ballot at Kyebi in the Eastern Region.

According to the Electoral Commission, it expects a total of 17 million voters across the 275 constituencies to participate in the presidential and parliamentary elections.

The nationwide exercise began at 7am at most of the polling station and is expected to end at 5pm.
