The Royal House Chapel International has denied any knowledge of the infamous Dr. Jonathan Ohene Nkunim, who was captured in the sex scandal of Investigative reporter Manasseh Azure Awuni of The Fourth Estate.

According to leadership of the church, Dr. Jonathan Ohene Nkunim is neither an officer nor a member of the church.

A statement from Director of Administration of the church, Rev. Dzifa Gakpleazi, said that “…a gentleman, purported to be a doctor and minister of the gospel, named Dr. Jonathan Nkunim, of Nature’s Hand Therapeutic Centre, Gbawe who is facing sexual assault charges, is seen leading worship at one of the local Assemblies of Royal House Chapel”.

“Leadership of Royal house Chapel wishes to inform the public and all interested persons that the said Dr. Jonathan Ohene Nkunim is neither an officer nor a member of the church and has never been”, the Reverend said.

The statement explained that the doctor was part of the ministration team of a guest pastor who had been invited to minister at the local church on that fateful day featured in “The Licensed Sex Predator” documentary.

Rev. Dzifa Gakpleazi added that Dr. Nkunim never had an interaction with the host pastor or any leadership of the local assembly but left the church premises right after his opening worship on the said day.

Leadership of Royal house Chapel is however, saddened by the actions of Dr. Nkunim and has further prayed for “mercy and true repentance for his soul”

The Licensed Sex Predator is an investigative report in which Manasseh Azure Awuni of The Fourth Estate reveals how a licensed health practitioner used his facility and practice as bait to sexually assault scores of women who went there seeking treatment.

The culprit, Mr. Jonathan Ohene Nkunim of Nature’s Hand Therapeutic Centre, is currently in the grips of the police, following the release of the documentary.

Mr. Ohene Nkunim, who had earlier denied allegations and evidence against him, later confessed on the day of his arrest, “I’m a bad person, and I need to die”.
