The Police in the Ashanti Region have arrested 40-year-old Maxwell Kwame Boadi, who was on police wanted list for his alleged involvement in the murder of his pregnant wife, Priscilla Owusu, also known as Betty.
The incident is reported to have happened at Nyankyerenease, Kwadaso, a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
He was declared wanted by the police on Monday, October, 18, 2021, after he was alleged to stabbed his 31-year-old wife Betty to death on Saturday.
His arrest was effected following a tip off that he was at a hideout at Kodie, Kumasi on Tuesday, October 19, 2021.
The police have retrieved a knife the suspect allegedly used to stab his wife to death.
Meanwhile, he is currently in police custody assisting the police in investigations.
