CAF Women’s CL: First Lady wishes Hasaacas Ladies good luck ahead today’s semi-final tie

Ghana’s First Lady, Rebecca Akufo-Addo has sent a goodwill message to Hasaacas Ladies ahead of the team’s semi-final game against ASFAR Club in the maiden edition of the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League in Egypt.

The nation’s sole representative goes head-on with ASFAR club of Morocco in the first semi-finals encounter today November 15, 2021, at the 30th June stadium in Cairo at 14:00pm GMT.

Meanwhile, Malabo Kings of Equatorial Guinean will also take on Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies of South Africa in the other semi-finals game.

In a posted message, she urged the team to focus on their quest for the ultimate since herself and her Rebecca foundation wish them the best of luck.

“On behalf of myself and everyone at The Rebecca Foundation, we wish HASAACAS LADIES all the best in their semi-final match in the Confederation of African Football Women Champions League match tomorrow. Continue making Ghana proud!” said Rebecca Akuffo Addo.

Mrs. Akufo-Addo who has women’s football at her heart somewhere in September this year supported the team with GH¢30,000 prior to their preparation ahead of the ongoing tournament in Egypt.

Hasaacas topped group Group A with 7 points after three matches played each in the group stages.

The ongoing TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League competition is the maiden competition introduced by the Confederation of African Football to develop women’s football on the continent.
