A final year student of a Community Day Senior High School in Adansi Apegya in Ashanti Region reportedly walked out of the examination hall to smoke weed during the Social Studies paper.

The Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) commenced on November 15, 2021 across the country with all final year students sitting to write the exam.

However, it is alleged that a final year student by name Yusuf walked out from the hall to go smoke weed.

According to Kessben TV, the student came into the hall with a white substance mixed with a drink .

After taking the substance , Yusuf sweated profusely thus wetting his Social Studies paper.

He later walked out of the hall and got invigilators suspicious. It was later confirmed that he went out just to smoke weed.

The headmaster, who felt the situation was embarrassing described Yusuf as a truant who could not write most of his mock papers.

He also added that the boy’s father has neglected him due to his gross insubordination.

According to the headmaster, he has tried his best to ensure he turned over a new leaf but his efforts have proved futile.

The headmaster revealed that he was hesitant in allowing Yusuf register for the exam but his mother pleaded with him only to wake up to this unfortunate incident.
