Tarkwa-based Premiership club, Medeama SC has reportedly parted ways with its head coach, Ignatius Osei Fosu.

Angelfmonline.com.gh understands that the decision to relieve the coach of his duties follows the club’s poor performance in the ongoing 2021-22 Ghana Premier League season.

The gaffer, who joined the yellow and mauve club from Eleven Wonders has become the second casualty of the league barely 24 hours after Ashanti Gold sacked their head coach, Ernest Thompson.

Assistant Coach, Umar Abdul Rabi will be on the bench against Karela United in the Western derby over the weekend in the Week 4 of the GPL.

Meanwhile, the club’s nightmare continues as Mr James Essilfie who spent 13 years with the club as CEO resigned from his role on Friday, two days before the side’s trip to Techiman Eleven Wonders.

Medeama SC currently has two out of nine points after three matches.
