Christmas as celebrated by Christians throughout the world to mark the birth of Jesus Christ, has been adopted as period of giving without thought of getting in return.

The gesture of giving not only meets the material needs of people, but incites an indescribable feeling both to the giver and the beneficiary.

This was evident on the faces of people, more especially, the less privileged and ardent listeners of Angel Broadcasting Network’s (ABN) Angel FM and presenter DJ Ohemaa Woyeje, when their faces were lit in grin.

To begin the event, Founder and Leader of the Lord’s Parliament Chapel, Apostle Francis Amoako Attah and veteran Highlife artiste Obuoba J.A. Adofo performed cake cutting with some staffs of the ABN to mark Ohema Woyeje’s birthday, and ushered the ceremony into God’s hands with prayers.

The multilingual airwaves commando showing humanitarian gestures on the day, gave free meals (breakfast & lunch) to people from all walks of life who greeted the program.

Stressing true values, Ohema Woyeje born ‘Harry Owusu Adwoa Kusi’ distributed clothing to children between aged one to five to put smiles on the faces of the kids and to also lessen the burden of cost on their guardians.

These notwithstanding, a free barbering service was offered the people.

As if that was not enough, a health-free screening exercise from Chartma Herbal Health Center and BJ Medical Center was offered to attendees who grace the occasion at the Woyeje Icebar street.

Some top musicians in the entertainment industry also climaxed the event with performance and live band from Ghana Police Service team.

The artiste include; Yaa Pono, Kofi Mole, Abrewa Nana, Ras Kuuku, Kwaisey P, Adane Best, Samuel Owusu, KK Kabobo, Lucky Mensah.

The rest are Ohemaa Woyeje & Kgenius, Jahlead, Skrewfaze, Donzy, Joe Frazier, Adangba, Stonzi, King Jerry, KK Fosu, Chicago, Flexzy Da Don, Nana Agyemang, Double and many more.

In appreciation, some beneficiaries who expressed their gratitude to Angelonline.com.gh said the kindhearted gesture from ABN and Ohemaa Woyeje was purely true love.

An old man who also shared her joy over the give-away portion of the street bazaar event added that his celebration of the Christmas festival has “fully filled his heart”.

Another beneficiary from Mallam who only gave her name as Esther indicated that she is overwhelmed and hence the event will forever remain in her memories.
