Ghanaian female comedian and actress Afia Schwarzenegger known in real life as Valentina Nana Agyei waa, has announced the death of her father on Monday, January 17, 2022 on her Instagram page.
Augustine Agyei, the father of the controversial actress, has been battling with an undisclosed illness since last year.
Afia, at a point, asked her followers to pray for her dad because she felt she was losing him.
On January 8, she said a prayer for her father in a post on her Instagram page. In her post, she wrote “I thank God for a great father like mine……and even though the devil is making it look like he has won I believe you are merciful father.”
Even though in her post it seemed her father wasn’t getting better, she believed God could heal him as she ended her post by saying that “because what God cannot do does not exist”
Afia and her father shared a special bond which she displayed as she was fond of posting videos and pictures of them together.
However, Afia announced today January 17,2022 in an Instagram post which read ‘ My hero has gone to be with the Lord. Rest in peace Daddy, I’m lost.
Most of his colleagues have taken to their page and comment section to express their condolences and also wished her well in such trying times.
