The Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture Development, Mavis Hawa Koomson, surprised staff of the ministry with some home-cooked food during their lunch break on Tuesday.

The minister, who doubles as the Legislator for Awutu Senya East Constituency, explained that her kind gesture was aimed at rewarding the employees for their unrelenting support.

Though she failed to announce the specific foods prepared, social media images on her Twitter wall showed variety of rice dishes as well as fufu with soup.

“So this afternoon I decided to surprise my staff at the Ministry again with home-made lunch 🥗🍲🥘just to thank them for their continuous support”, Madam Mavis Hawa Koomson tweeted.
