The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), has charged Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Obuasi-based Ashanti Gold, for misconducts in the ongoing 2021/22 Ghanaian football season.

The football-governing body also slapped a host of other clubs and persons, with same charges.

They are; Berekum Arsenals, FC Savannah, Elmina Sharks, Soccer Intellectuals, BA United FC, Unistar Academy, New Edubiase FC, and Techiman Eleven Wonders.

Others are; Alhaji Abdul Daim Abubakar, Naafew Gariba, Asana Hamidu (Ashtown Ladies), Stephen Manu (New Edubiase), Ergbert MacDonald Amartey (Match Commissioner), Samuel Otoo (Match Commissioner) and Ali Yakubu (Soccer Intellectuals).

The rest are; Abass Ganiu (Eleven Wonders), Amo Ernest (Eleven Wonders), Perry Addison Rockson (Eleven Wonders), Haderu Ashittey Ollenu (Eleven Wonders), Amin Adams Mohammed (Eleven Wonders) and Paul Tandoh (Hearts of Oak).

A statement from the GFA’s communication team sighted by Angelonline.com.gh said all persons and clubs who have been charged are directed to “submit written statements of defence or choose the option of appearing in person before the GFA Disciplinary Committee.”

According to the statement, the verdicts will then be announced by the DC on the respective cases after the charged persons and clubs have submitted their statements of defence.
