Celebrated Black Stars captain, Stephen Appiah, has praised former teammate Sulley Ali Muntari for joining Ghana Premier League side, Accra Hearts of Oak.

Muntari, a former Ghana international on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 was unveiled by the Accra-based side after signing a one-year contract.

And according to Stephen Appiah, the decision by Sulley Muntari to join the Phobians makes him delighted because the latter’s name will forever go into the history book of the team’s greatest players.

The ex-Hearts of Oak, Udinese, Parma, Fenerbahce and Juventus player made these assertion in an official Twitter post.

Sulley Muntari, spent over 20 years of his professional career in Europe playing for clubs like Inter Milan, AC Milan, Sunderland, Al Ittihad, Pescara, Deportivo La Coruna, Albacete, Portsmouth and Udinese Calcio.
