A 13-year-old primary two pupil of the Bibiani Methodist basic school, has been found dead in a nearby bush at Bibiani Estate.

According to reports, the deceased girl name [withheld] left home on the evening of Wednesday, February 9, 2022 but never returned until her dead body was found in the early hours of Thursday February 10.

Though the cause of the death is yet to be established, family of the deceased suspects a foul play.

An Auntie to the deceased, Alima told Angel News reporter, Kofi Gyabaah “Around 10:00pm she left home when her mother had gone to the bedroom to lay the bed for the deceased junior kid.

“But after the mother returned from the room, the deceased was nowhere to be found so we begun to mount a search for her but we never saw her until we went to bed.

“She has once left home in the same manner and returned the next day so we taught she had gone to her peers. We continued the search this morning but proved futile till we were told a young girl had been murdered at a house where we rushed to, to see her lifeless body,” Alima accounted in Twi.

The Bibiani Police Command has since conveyed the body to the Bibiani Government hospital for autopsy and preservation.
