The originator of hip-life music in Ghana , Reginald Yaw Asante known in showbiz as Reggie Rockstone, has claimed that a sitting head of state dated his girlfriend in his heydays.
According to him a sitting president at that time ‘shared’ his girlfriend with him without his knowledge.
Reggie Rockstone made the revelation in a video he posted on his Instagram page.
He gave the account that, he met the lady on the University of Ghana, Legon campus years ago at a show he went for.
He claimed that they dated for a while before he realized the lady was also in a relationship with the unnamed president at that time and according to him only four people know what transpired, out of which one is dead.
Reggie explained that he got the news through his father that his girlfriend by then was dating the president.
”I was dating a fine sister at some point and it happened she was dating the president at that time.”
He disclosed that the lady had two phones and one of the phones was only for calls from the president.
When his wife interjected and asked “if the lady dropped him like a bad habit” after he discovered her cheating, he replied that he walked away because he was the ‘fly guy’.
He added that when you are dating these fine girls you got to be careful about them, they could be linked to some powerful politician.
According to him, such ladies could land men in trouble by putting their lives or careers on the line.
His wife also added that, this would have made headline news if social media was active by then.
However, Reggie said he was not going to disclose the name of the president.
