Ghana Premier League leaders, Asante Kotoko returned to winning ways after Cameroonian import Frank Etouga Mbella, scored a second half brace against  Dreams FC at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in the week 18 fixture of the second round.

It comes following their goalless with rivals Hearts Of Oak last weekend in an outstanding league fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium.

After a stalemate in the first half, the Porcupines took the lead in the 71st minute with a penalty converted by forward Frank Etouga Mbella after he was fouled in the box.

He doubled the lead in the 82nd minute to complete a brace to seal all three points for the league leaders.

Asante Kotoko with the home victory have extended their lead at the top of the league table with 40 points..

Dreams are at the 10th position with 23 points following their defeat.

Frank Mbella Etouga has now increased his goal tally to 13 to be the top scorer in the ongoing 2021/23 GPL.
