The Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) has warned the general public against patronizing the services of Kentrust Pension Limited.
According to them in a communique, it has not contracted the company let alone assigning any other party on its behalf to collect contributions from employers and workers in the informal sectors.
It said the “Social Security and National Insurance Trust wishes to inform the general public that it has not designated Kentrust Pension Limited or any other third party to collect contributions from employers and workers in the informal sector or self-employed persons on its behalf”
“Any establishment or person who pays their SSNIT contributions through Kentrust Pension Limited or any other third party does so at their own risk” they cautioned.
The statement urged employers and members of the scheme in the country to pay their First-Tier contributions at the only 51 SSNIT branches nationwide or at any of its 20 partner banks.
