Founder of the public policy think tank, Danquah Institute (DI), Gabby Asare Otchere Darko has attributed the appointment of Dr. Bernard Okoe Boye as the Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) to ‘loyalty’.

He indicated that loyalty pays in every sphere of life therefore the sacrifices of the former deputy Health Minister has paid off.

Reacting to the new role handed Dr. Okoe Boye in a tweet, Mr. Otchere Darko said what makes or breaks an individual in politics is how the person “deals with disappointment.”

“I keep telling party loyalists, especially the younger ones, who come to me with tears over lack of recognition or those who come feeling eternally wounded by disappointments. My message to them is this: “In politics what makes or breaks you is how you deal with disappointments” he wrote.

This came after President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo appointed former Deputy Health Minister, Dr. Bernard Okoe Boye, as the Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA).
