Former Ghana Football Association (GFA) Boss, Kwesi Nyantakyi is expected to be present at the book launch of ex Black Stars Captain, Asamoah Gyan.

The launch of the book titled ‘LeGyandary’ is schedule for April 30, 2022, at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra at 17:00GMT.

The book is expected to detail how football took him from Liberty Professionals to Italy, France, UAE, China, Turkey among others.

Ahead of the big event, Gyan on Thursday, April 21, 2022 paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Nyantakyi and handed him a formal invitation.

“They say, ‘victory is always possible for the person who refuses to stop fighting’ I presented an invitation to Mr Kwesi Nyantakyi, former GFA boss. Thank you, Sir, for everything” the Black Stars all-time leading top scorer wrote on Twitter.

Meanwhile, former President John Agyekum Kuffour, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, CAF President, Patrice Motsepe and a host of other dignitaries are among the special guests invited to the star-studded ceremony.

Asamoah Gyan who last played for Legon Cities in the Ghana Premier League is currently unengaged after leaving the royals.

Having scored a record 51 goals in 109 appearances for the Black Stars from 2003 to 2019, ‘Baby Jet’ as affectionately called is Ghana’s all-time top scorer.
