In the CCTV video footage that was widely circulated, the victim [a middle aged woman] was seen walking towards her house when a motorbike with a pillion rider bypassed her.

Shortly after, the motorbike made a sharp u-turn and the pillion rider jumped off to snatch the woman’s hand bag but the woman resisted and fell to the ground.

The victim, while narrating her ordeal, recounted that she was nearing her front gate when the two robbers attacked her.

She said she was returning from church after prayers.

Following the arrest, some netizens have applauded the police service while urging them to ensure the law takes its cause.

Welldone Ghana police.
