Controversial pastor, Rev. Christian Kwabena Andrews popularly called Osofo Kyiri Abosom, has said armed robbers fled his house when he mentioned his name.
Detailing the strange turn of events, the Man of God said that he was asleep when he felt someone tapping his leg, obviously to wake him.
He explained that when he woke up, he didn’t see anyone and therefore decided to see what was happening by peeping through the window.
“I saw four well-built men jumping one after the other into the house and they were carrying guns. So I opened my louvres a little and shouted that brothers, this is Osofo Kyiri Abosom’s house and they replied that Pastor pray for us and they jumped out again saying they didn’t know. They were armed robbers…”
According to him, the incident happened barely one week after he had relocated to his new house situated at Kumasi.
The leader of Life Assembly Worship Centre also recounted another incident where the mere mention of his name ‘saved’ his life.
Narrating what transpired, he told host of Y’adwumanie on Angel FM that his car broke down and he opted for a taxi.
“As soon as the taxi stopped a gentleman dropped from the car and something told me they were bad people but since I was with them I had to move with them. When I sat, I asked where they were headed and one of them said why am I posing such silly questions.”
“He demanded that I release my phone to them and I asked that what would they gain from Osofo Kyiri Abosom’s phone. He exclaimed that eei pastor is that you? When I said yes, it’s me, they later asked where I was going to and they dropped me off safely at my destination – Ice FM.”
